Archieved Exhibits
“Gone But Not Forgotten”
February – May 2018
“Gone But Not Forgotten,” is about community safety and transformative justice, remembering those who died at the hands of the CPD. A series of peace quilting circles was organized citywide, reading the victims’ stories aloud, while creating a hand embroidered quilt in their memory. The result encourages us to engage in radical empathy, the belief that we are all better than our worst acts, that no one is disposable, and that everyone is capable of change. Please visit the Gallery before, during, or after worship.
OPEN HOUSE, Saturday May 5, 2-5pm
Individuals from the member organization will be at Unity to host a learning circle and discuss the project in depth. Read more about the project here. Admission is free. Light refreshments provided. Email [email protected] with any questions.
